Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness. As your Hypnotherapist I will guide you to achieve this state by assisting you in the hypnotic process. In hypnosis suggestions and guidance are given to enable you to use the power of your mind to make the positive changes you desire.

Hypnosis is a normal state of altered awareness that we all spontaneously go into every day. This ‘waking’ hypnosis is something we all do without trying. How many drivers have had the experience of not been able to remember how they got to their destination? How many people raid the fridge after watching TV commercials, maybe not to eat the product advertised but they have felt the need to get something to eat. Even daydreaming is a form of hypnosis. There is nothing unnatural about hypnosis.

Will I be under the hypnotists power?

No. This is a misconception that pervades culture. You remain in control at all times and can hear everything that is said to you. You can accept or reject suggestions.

Will I be made to tell secrets?

You cannot be made say anything you don’t wish to say.

Will I be made to tell the truth?

While hypnotized you can decide what to say or not. Just as in regular states of awareness.

If you disagree with something you will automatically reject it.

Let hypnosis work for you as it has for millions of others.

Hypnosis has been around for centuries but how many people really know what it is, what it can do and what it’s potential can be for improving our lives?

Is hypnosis some mysterious power that a hypnotist wields with invisible energy coming forth from his eyes? The image of an evil Svengali still lingers in some peoples mind. Is it a gift some have that others don’t, what is this phenomena all about? How many people fear that if they were hypnotized they would be made to quack like a duck and run around like a chicken? But if that was all there was to hypnosis it would have disappeared years ago, instead it is a thriving worldwide industry that has decades of experience behind it. Today more people are trained in advanced hypno-therepeutic methods than ever before in history and the numbers increase every day. Success speaks loudly and hypnosis provides a road to success like no other. Why? Because hypnosis uses the power of ones own mind to achieve the results you really want.

Common questions and misconceptions about hypnosis.

1. I don’t think I can be hypnotized.

It is quite common to feel this way however anybody who can follow instructions can go easily into a state of hypnosis. Intelligence is an aid and not an hindrance to being hypnotized.

2. What if I don’t wake up?

Then you will be unique because hypnosis is not a state of sleep but an altered state of awareness that actually enables you to be more focused than usual.

3. Will I lose control?

Absolutely not in a state of hypnosis you are aware and fully able to reject or accept all suggestions you receive, you may also bring yourself out of hypnosis at any time.

4. What if you make me tell secrets?

It is impossible to force you to say what you don’t want to. In fact you can tell lies easier in a state of hypnosis so that is never an issue. In forensic hypnosis only the witness is hypnotized never the accused because of the ease of fabrication within a hypnotic trance.

5. Can I be made to do something against my will?

If it were possible to force a person to do something against their will very few hypnotists would be working in the field of therapy they would be living on personal islands payed for by all the people they control. Think of it the papers would be full of criminals who were committing crimes in a state of hypnosis.

6. Can you control my mind?

Again suggestions will only be accepted by the subconscious mind if they agree with your morals, values and intended outcome.
